We are a “data scientist”, not the single-word term “engineer”

Lets come out of the myth Data Scientist are already good with math, statistics and computing with years of experience in some market niche. We (analytical people) speak a different language. Here we address the misconception that data science is an IT function. The only domain in the world which sums up the effective usage of Technology, Business, Mathematics, Programming. Data Science Learning is something that reminds constantly my ego that we don’t know anything, we don’t have a clue of what is about to happen next and the only certainty is that we need to learn more.

Learning becomes much easier when its added with the flavors of Interest and Ease. So we do it here making it more smoother to learn insights of Data Science and start exploring. Self exploration and curiosity brings me here to share relevant information and knowledge about Data Science.

gStick: A Pen Shaped Mouse Mimicking a pen in shape and size, gStick is looking to join the ranks of alternative mouse designs that aim to attain extra degree of precision, difficult to attain using a conventional mouse. Gordon Alan Stewart of Anchorage, Alaska created the gStick after he tried to sign a contract online using a traditional mouse and realised how difficult it can be with the tried and tested form factor. After three years of development and testing, he is now ready to bring gStick to the market. The gStick has not been designed to completely replace a traditional mouse, but instead for those people who use applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Video Editing and 3D rendering has been mentioned, along with PC gamers, which seems unusual to us. It's also suitable for kids, who will find the transition between using a pen and the gStick a lot easier than jumping straight to using a conventional mouse according to the creators. T

Design consultancy Pensa has ripped out the internals of this iconic tourist spot mainstay and brought it into the digital age. The visitors to a New York neighborhood are now being given the opportunity to travel through time and learn about DUMBO's past and present. The Tower Optical Digital Viewer on the DUMBO waterfront Tower Optical has been manufacturing its iconic binocular viewers for over 80 years now. The chrome plated bronze housing sits atop a cast iron base, and can be rotated 360° on the horizontal axis, and tilted up by 45° and down by 22°. There's a slot underneath the eye pieces for receiving 25 cent coins, and a lever next door feeds the beast to offer the user a few minutes of viewing pleasure before everything blacks out. This version of the Digital Viewer gets its power needs from a cafe umbrella, which has its own battery pack that's charged via PV panels up top.
